What is Alchemy?
Alchemy is the medieval example of chemistry, based on the supposed transformation of matter. It was concerned particularly with attempts to convert base metals into gold or to find a universal elixir.
Who was Cornelius Agrippa?
Cornelius Agrippa was a medieval German man who specialized in alchemy, astrology, occult and scientific writing. Born in Cologne, Germany on September 15th, 1486 Agrippa contributed many new ideas and scientific concepts in his era. Cornelius also was a magician, and his most famous books, Three Books of Occult Philosophy, was, as some say, an encyclopedia to magic. Until his death in 1535 Cornelius Agrippa wrote and published a total of six books, roaming from the Arts of Science to Magician works. Throughout his life Arippa opened a new eye to both the scientific and artistic world, and is still being read today.
