What is the paradox of Victor's need to revisit nature in order to heal?
After William's death Frankenstein is devastated, heartbroken with guilt for the death of his own innocent brother. His despair soon turns to anger, a dangerous craving for revenge. To shut off this sudden change in heart, Frankenstein escapes to the mountains surrounding Chamonix, hoping to relieve himself of his dangerous anger and mourn his broken soul.
The monster puts responsibility onto Victor, as the creator, to nurture and care for his creation. Do you agree?
I agree with the monster when he puts responsibility on Victor Frankenstein because he is sticking up for his rights to have a father, and inciting on the laws of creation justice. When Frankenstein created such a monster he should have anticipated the the responsibility of fathering such a creature, and should have been ready to prepare it for the real world as all parents do. This is a simple law of justice of which every parent must follow, every creator must obey. If they do not follow this law of responsibility, they will create a creature of which cannot contemplate reality and the world, and will eventually destruct a part of life in some way. In the case of Frankenstein, Frankenstein does not take responsibility for his creation, which leads his monster to be vulnerable in the world and naive the true destruction of actions in reality. So when the monster meets with Frankenstein and complains of his fault in creationism, and demands his well deserved nutriment, I agree with his plea and support his motives.
